Bio

Born and raised in Aurora, Colorado, Josh was the only son of Larry and Debbie Snyder, Trekkie-Lawyer and Original-Series-Trekkie-Only-Legal-Secretary, respectively.

Inspired by Suzy Eddie Izzard, Seinfeld, Mel Brooks, Shakespeare and the inherently funny observations of his own mother, Josh discovered early that making his parents laugh helped ameliorate the pain caused by a family history of substance abuse, mental illness, and physical violence.

Josh is also the Talent Booker at Flappers Comedy Club and Restaurant, as well as a part of the ownership team behind the parent franchising company led by Barbara Holliday.

For Josh, who still “hesitates in social situations” — direct quote from Fourth Grade teacher, as evidenced by the fact that he didn’t lose his virginity until he was thirty-two — humor remains the primary way for Josh to heal, connect, and contribute to hopefully making the future a little more Star Trek and a little less Mad Max.
